My name is Ashley, I am a Registered Nurse with a BScN from Nipissing University. I graduated in 2011 and began my career as a nurse in North Bay caring for patients on a Medical Floor.

Since moving back to Renfrew I worked as a medical/emergency room nurse. I discovered medical esthetics/cosmetics in 2019 and found a new passion for a different kind of nursing role.

I successfully completed and became certified to administer cosmetic injections (neuromodulators and hyaluronic fillers) & procedures (medical grade skin peels) in Barrie ON at a well respected training center called International Institute of Aesthetic Medicine (IIAM). Here I learned from experts in their field how to assess and administer cosmetic injections /procedures for clients.

Now I’m able to merge my old and new passions and expertise within my nursing career and scope. I can’t wait to meet you in clinic to get your treatment plans started.

I’m Dr Corey Nixon, and I have a widely travelled history. I did my university studies at Waterloo ON and took a trip overseas to Dublin, Ireland to do my medical school training and then off to Pittsburgh, PA, USA for residency. I came back to Renfrew for family living in the area and friends from The Frew who I met all the way in Dublin.

I am a physician and became interested in dermatology throughout medical school and while doing extra training in the US, I ran a Botox clinic out of my family medicine residency. I came to love perfecting skin procedures and performing cosmetics and hope to offer my services to Renfrew!
